Why I started my blog...

Today's post is going to be something a bit different. As you can tell by the title, it is going to be the background of my blog and me.

From a young age I have enjoyed reading and writing. When I was two you would find me in the middle of a pile of picture books and thats how it was for hours...

When I started school, English was my favourite subject (it still is now). I loved making fiction books at home aswell (None of which I continued with) even if I didn't continue them, conjouring up a new character was my favourite way to pass time. When my teacher annouced a new writing task I'd be bubbling with excitement whilsh the restof the class groaned and sighed. So I guess you could call me a geek. Though I prefer the term "english enthusiast".Then, at the age of nine I dicovered "Blogging", I discovered many of my inspirations today and I discovered one of my most treasured hobbies. 

And that was that. I had my mind set on what I wanted to do. I wanted to blog. My dad who makes websites for a living helped me build my blog. I spent hours one afternoon pondering over name ideas, visited many websites with name suggestions but finally I found it, the perfect name "One Girls Dream". I wanted this to be a little place where I could write annonymously about my life, my dreams and my interests. So thats what I've done. 

My blog is the place I'll go to when I had a bad day at school, a place I can talk to anyone who wants to listen and mainly my place of enjoyment.
